Shipping Policy for Mexican-minerals.com

All Items are shipped out via USPS Priority Mail or UPS ground. We will combine orders where possible; however, some orders will need to be shipped separately due to size, weight, or product characteristics.

While every effort is made to ship your order out within 48 hours, once an order has been left with the carrier we cannot be held responsible for their shipping delays. We will send you a Shipping Email with the label tracking number(s) as the order is processed through our Shipping Department to let you know your order is on the way.

Our Packaging Materials & Recycling for the Environment

The Number One goal of the Mexican-minerals.com Shipping Department is for your items to arrive in perfect condition.  We use several different packaging methods to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition.  We also care about the environment. That is why we make every attempt to ensure our packaging materials are recyclable, and, where possible, made from recycled materials themselves.

Boxes

All Mexican-minerals.com orders are shipped in a corrugated container composed of some percentage of post-consumer recycled material. After you receive your order you should be able to send the box directly to your local recycling center.  We suggest removing any labels (shipping, etc.) to ensure your privacy.

Bubble Wrap

This ingenious invention is made up from recycled materials and in most areas can be sent to the plastics area of your local recycling center.

Peanuts

An absolutely terrific invention! Most of the items we ship out require packing peanuts to ensure the shipment arrives at your door in perfect condition.

All of the peanuts we use are made from recycled, non-toxic materials and can be recycled again.  You can contact your local recycler for instructions on how to dispose of them.  If your local recycler does not accept them you can offer them to your local schools for classroom projects, local businesses, or your local pack-and-ship stores for reuse.

Or you can use them at the bottom of your planters (flowers, garden veggies, etc) where you would normally use rocks.  They are lightweight, do not hold water, but still allow plants to drain.
