This is a stunning blue calcite mineral display specimen from the Santa Eulalia mines in Chihuahua, Mexico. It has been acid washed to bring out the true beauty of this specimen.

It measures approx 3 in wide by 5.5 in long by 3.5 in high. It weighs 1408 grams.

Blue calcite is noted in most metaphysical books as a gentle stone for healing, dissolving pain, and releasing negative emotions. It's scientific formula is Ca(CO3), Latin name is Calx, and is about a 3 on the MOHS chart.
